This page provides general installation guidance for Novemtron Auto products. Please read all relevant sections carefully before proceeding with any installation.
⚠️ Important Notice: Professional Installation Required
All Novemtron Auto products involve automotive electrical systems and vehicle-specific wiring. Installation by unqualified individuals is strictly prohibited.
- Incorrect installation may cause serious damage to your vehicle's electrical system, safety systems, or related components.
- Improper wiring may result in short circuits, blown fuses, warning lights, or permanent damage to the vehicle's ECU or control modules.
- Warranty claims may be voided if damage is caused by non-professional installation.
- For all products, professional installation by a qualified automotive technician is strongly required.
- If you are unsure about any step, stop immediately and consult a professional.
Before You Begin — All Products
- Confirm product compatibility with your vehicle model, production year, and trim level before installation.
- Read the product-specific instructions included in the package.
- Ensure the vehicle ignition is off and, where applicable, disconnect the vehicle battery before working on electrical components.
- Do not install any product while the vehicle is in motion.
- Keep all small parts and components away from children.
Dash Cam Installation (Vehicle-Specific & OEM-Style)
Vehicle-specific and OEM-style dash cams are designed to integrate with the vehicle's original wiring and interior. Installation requires access to the vehicle's fuse box, interior trim panels, and in some cases the original camera or display system.
- Confirm the product is compatible with your exact vehicle model and production year.
- Route cables through interior trim panels to maintain a clean, concealed installation.
- Connect power through the appropriate fuse tap or hardwire kit as specified in the product instructions.
- Do not obstruct the driver's field of view during or after installation.
- Test all functions including video recording, parking monitor, and GPS (where applicable) after installation.
- Professional installation is strictly required. Do not attempt installation without qualified automotive experience.
CarPlay System Installation
CarPlay systems require integration with the vehicle's original head unit wiring, CAN bus system, and in some cases the vehicle's camera and sensor inputs. This is one of the most complex installations in our product range.
- Confirm compatibility with your vehicle model, production year, and original head unit type before purchase.
- Installation involves disassembly of the dashboard and center console area.
- Incorrect connection to the CAN bus or original wiring harness may trigger warning lights or disable vehicle functions.
- Some vehicles may require coding or configuration after installation.
- Professional installation by a qualified automotive technician is strictly required. Non-professional installation is strictly prohibited and may result in serious vehicle damage.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Installation
TPMS sensors are installed on the vehicle's wheel valves and communicate wirelessly with a display unit or the vehicle's original instrument cluster.
- Confirm sensor compatibility with your vehicle's tire valve type and wheel size.
- Sensor installation on the wheel valve requires deflating the tire and may require tire removal — this should be performed at a tire service center.
- Follow the pairing and calibration instructions included with the product after sensor installation.
- TPMS is a supplementary monitoring tool only. Always perform regular manual tire pressure checks.
- Tire and wheel work must be performed by a qualified tire service professional.
Xenon Ballast Installation
Xenon ballasts are high-voltage automotive lighting components. Incorrect handling or installation poses a risk of electric shock and vehicle damage.
- Confirm the part number, connector type, and mounting points match your vehicle's original ballast before installation.
- Disconnect the vehicle battery before handling any HID lighting components.
- Do not touch the ballast connectors or igniter with bare hands during installation.
- Incorrect installation may cause flickering, non-operation, or damage to the headlight control module.
- Professional installation is strictly required. High-voltage components must only be handled by qualified technicians.
LED Module Installation
LED modules are replacement lighting components for automotive headlight systems. Compatibility and installation complexity vary by vehicle model and headlight version.
- Confirm the module matches your vehicle's headlight type, connector, and mounting structure.
- Some vehicles require diagnostic reset or coding after replacing lighting modules.
- Incorrect installation may cause warning messages, flickering, or damage to the headlight assembly.
- Professional installation is strictly required.
Dust Cap Installation
Dust caps are fitted to the rear of the headlight housing to seal the bulb access opening.
- Confirm the diameter and shape match your headlight housing before installation.
- Ensure the dust cap is fully and evenly seated to maintain a proper seal.
- Check that there is sufficient clearance around bulbs, wiring, and surrounding components.
- Do not force-fit a dust cap that does not match the headlight opening size or shape.
After Installation
- Test all product functions before returning the vehicle to normal use.
- Check for any warning lights, error messages, or abnormal behavior after installation.
- If any issue is detected, stop using the product and contact our support team.
